The New Aurora

An excerpt from the working title novella "The Haunter of New Aurora". Introducing the New Weird elements and protagonist "The Haunter" in my latest grueling quest to develop the most ambitious piece of fiction I've written thus far.

The Haunter of New Aurora summary: 

After being killed with his wife by an apocalyptic event called Red Requiem, Fig Pyotr is revived as a man named The Haunter. Determined to end the Red Requiem and restore the earth to its former shell he ensues a journey through a phantasmagoric nightmare.
